LE PONT BRIDGE
Le Pont Bridge creates urban fables that act on the senses and perception of the viewer. It stands at the crossroads of theatre, installation and video, exploring the interrelationships between speech, the body, space and image.

1. Question existing stage practices by using a multidisciplinary approach where space and perception are the keys to exploration. A space-script, an image-script that builds emotion in the perceptions and in the body of the spectator.

2. Start from a basic staging principle that’s been workshopped.

3. Try to make the work powerful and coherent by creating links or bridges between fragments of images, words and set, each brought face-to-face with the other as the driving force of the script. Aim for a kind of osmosis by linking all the elements together.

4. Strive for a language where the “visual” element (video images) is not intended as decoration but as script, just as much as speech and staging.

5. Work on a playful approach to technology: “Craftwork Technology” (inventiveness in terms of means deployed).
